Welcome to the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law (JIL) where methods and systems on an international comparative level is taught. JIL is home to experts in the various fields of international law, such as human rights, environment and international laws. Our students, not only learn the theories of law, they learn the applicability of law through Moot and Mock trials and Law and Social Change. The department’s core philosophy is enshrined in the quest to ensure relevance and currency of research initiatives aimed at equipping students with the requisite capacity to compete favorably globally.
