Biography: Dr. Mrs. B.A. Raji is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. She has served in various capacities at the University as the faculty Member of the Students Disciplinary Committee, Member Zoological Management Committee, Tender-board Committee, Secretary to Unilorin Microfinance Bank, Chairperson to the Dress code Committee of the Faculty, Hall Mistress, member of GNS Monitoring Committee, member of the Faculty Journal Committee and presently a level adviser to 400 Level Students in the faculty. Her research works cut across dispute resolution, protection of women and girl-child, human rights, and gender studies. She has to her credit over 27 publications in reputable outlets both within and outside Nigeria including chapters in books. She has successfully supervised more than 20 students both undergraduates and postgraduates in various areas of law. Dr. Mrs. Barakat is a member of many professional bodies both within and outside Nigeria. She is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a Notary public.
