Biography

Tawakaltu Queen Oyinloye is a lecturer at the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She attended Igbinedion University Okada, where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree with First Class Honors in 2019. She proceeded to The Nigerian Law School Abuja and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2020. She completed her Master of Laws (LL.M) in 2022 from Igbinedion University Okada, after which She commenced her Ph.D. degree at the same University.

She is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria, the International Organization of Management Professionals, and The Women International Community.

In 2022, She contributed to a specialised publication of the Rivers State Judiciary titled: Understanding the Administration of Criminal Justice in Nigeria Through the Eyes of Hon. Justice Mary Ukaego Peter-Odili, JSC, CFR. Her article, Battered Woman Syndrome as a Defence to Homicide: Lessons from Other Jurisdictions, was published in Chapter Twelve of the Book.
