Biography

Muhtar Adeiza Etudaiye is a Professor of Law at the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He has written articles in both national and international journals of repute such as the Essex Human Rights Review, Lexigentia, Journal of Malaysian and Comparative Law, Journal Jurisprudence, and the IIC – International Review of Intellectual Property and Competition Law amongst others. He has been Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Law (2010-2012) and Head of Department, Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin (2012-2014). For a period spanning 2010 to 2015, he was a Member, of the Legal Committee of the National Council on Privatisation, Nigeria. His areas of interest include the Construction of Statutes with emphasis on Compliance Guaranty Mechanisms, Clinical Legal Education, general Jurisprudence and Legal Theory as well as Human Rights Law.
