Prof. Abdulmumini Adebayo Oba

Abdulmumini Adebayo OBA is a Professor in the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, Faculty of Law. He has served as Coordinator, Ag. Head and Head of Department (1997-2002), and Ag. Dean of the faculty (2018-2020). His areas of specialization are Legal Pluralism, Comparative Law, Human Rights and Religious/Cultural/Civilisational Diversities, and Law and Religion.
Professor Oba has acted as a peer reviewer for many national and international journals and has served as an external examiner and external professorial assessor to various universities within and outside the country. He has supervised over 17 Masters Dissertations and 5 Ph.D. theses. He has over 100 publications including journal articles in international and national journals. He has presented papers at scores of international and local conferences and has delivered over thirty invited public lectures.
