Professor. J.O. Olatoke SAN is a Professor of Law in the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He worked briefly in the Law firm of Tejumola Adeyemi & C0, Ilorin where he acquired experience in various areas of legal practice before joining the services of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, and later the University of Ilorin. In 2010, he served as Special Assistant on Litigation to two Attorney Generals and Ministers of Justice in Nigeria. He was a former Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin. He is a legal practitioner of International repute and an academic per excellence who has taught and published several articles in reputable journals. He is a recipient of several academic prizes and also a member of many professional bodies such as the Law Teachers Association of Nigeria, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the American Bar Association, and the International Bar Association. His main areas of research are International Economic Law, Private International Law, and Electoral Jurisprudence.
